Hi, I am Kim. A human centered designer with a passion for making.
Within my studio I work on concept and product development. I aim to create a meaningful translation from research, to concept, to product or installation.
My expertise lies in projects where social issues, regarding an experience, emotion or taboo are addressed. There I add value by combining my empathic nature, design skills and analytic approach. My work method is therefore intuitive but also meticulous and well substantiated.
I come from a background of creating conceptual objects that tell a story about the human condition. Through time I have become more and more interested in thinking (along) with clients on applicable and accessible design concepts and products in which I try to create space for personal and organizational growth.
